Our PP CORE vertical is the MAJOR DRIVER for our audiences across the globe. What we do here is rather simple - ONE SONG is taken up for LIVE TEACHING every week on a Saturday Evening. The song is taught LIVE by the MENTORS OF TEAM PP. Totally, there are 9 mentors who take turns to teach the songs.

Our program has been thriving purely by virtue of the supporters that we have consistently been building right since inception. To make them feel INCLUSIVE, (which is one of the major principles of TEAM PP), we keep conducting AUDIENCE POLLS on a regular and consistent basis to understand what songs need to be taken up for teaching.
 

 

 
 

 

THE WEEKLY STORY

 

Pre Show: EVERY WEEK, there is 1 male and 1 female MENTEE who get picked up for LEARNING THE SONG LIVE (basis various parameters like their FIT for the song, familiarity with music concepts etc).
Upon selection: They go through a rigorous training process with the mentor of the week and get attuned to the song.
During the show : They act as AUDIENCE REPRESENTATIVES and in addition to learning and clarifying doubts regarding the song during the LIVE SHOW.
Post Show: They OPEN PUBLIC INVITES on a popular music app called SMULE subsequently on Monday Morning by 10 AM (IST).

 

 

 

OUR LEARNING EPISODES

 

The learning episodes are about an hour and a half long and are streamed on FaceBook and YouTube every SATURDAY from 6.00 PM - 7.30 PM (IST).

The Anchor : The show is anchored by Mr. Nageswar Sundaram in a rather LIVELY and WITTY manner. He not only happens to be THE FOUNDER OF BRAND PP, but also the FACE OF THE BRAND! The show doesn't stop with people just learning the song alone. There's much more to it than what meets the eye!


 

 

 

 

OUR REVIEW EPISODES

 

On completion of the learning episode, it's time for people to put their learning into practice. The proof of the pudding lies in the eating, they say and this premise is what we get to experience week-on-week during our review shows. Whatever song was taught is opened for public on a popular app called smule, every Monday Morning 10 AM (IST).
People are invited to join the mentees or the mentor or both and post their songs for REVIEW. This again is a USP of Brand PP - to give people a holistic musical experience and to make music learn AVAILABLE TO ALL and make it a FUN LEARNING EXPERIENCE.

 

 

WHAT DO PEOPLE GET when they post their songs for review?

 

This is an interesting feature and something that every singer aspires for - to help them understand where they are, what has gone right, what could get better etc.
There is a REVIEW REQUEST FORM available on our website using which people can request for reviews. All those who submit their songs using this form link get a short and crisp 2-line feedback for their singing, indicating their POSITIVES and AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT.
From a huge list of about 200-300 songs that get posted for reviews, about 25 people are picked up for LIVE REVIEW week-on-week! They get featured during the MONDAY REVIEW SHOW that gets streamed on FaceBook and YouTube between (IST) 7.30 PM and 9.00P M!

 

 
 

 

SPECIAL PERKS

 

While all shortlisted joiners get review comments ON-AIR, there are certain privileged singers who get featured as PROMISING SINGERS. Those who do exceedingly well and show a fine demonstration of the singing techniques go on to become SINGERS OF THE WEEK and also bag a huge chance of finding their names in PP HALL OF FAME eventually.

Yes, we are officially a start-up and are passion driven business. Apart from our 3 major verticals of PP Core, Pro and Pals, we are also into Music Concerts and Events.

We currently are a Virtual academy teaching Music Online. However, we are in the process of launching our physical learning centers

There are three segments in which we feature people.

Reviews – This is not completely on merit. We mix and match people who’ve sung average, above average and good. We strive not to repeat the singers in this segment as much possible to feature more number of people. Unless you have not sung in right Sruthi at all or completely derailed when it comes to thaalam, you have a chance to get featured in reviews, if you are regular

Promising – People who have done more than 75% justice to the song are featured in this. This is completely on merit

Elite Club – If a singer gets featured in promising for 4 continuous times, they will get promoted to the Elite Singers Club. However, every month, there will be one singer, who will get demoted based on the least points scored.
